Sasaya
Japanische Küche
A kitchen shaped by honesty — seasonal rhythm, patient craft, and a quiet conviction that restraint is its own kind of generosity.
Tucked into Berlin, Sasaya has always cooked the way a craftsman works: not to impress, but to nourish. The menu follows the season. The room stays small. The welcome is unhurried. We find that imperfection, held carefully, becomes its own beauty — the philosophy the Japanese call wabi-sabi, the way we have always understood food.

Speisekarte & Erfahrungen
-
Mittagsmenü
A composed lunch, quietly paced. Bento sets, ramen, and daily changing specials built around what arrived at the market this morning.
-
Abendessen
Evening dining as ceremony. Small dishes arrive in unhurried sequence — each one a meditation on texture, temperature, and the dignity of a single ingredient handled well.
-
Sake & Tee
A considered selection of sake, Japanese whisky, and artisan teas — each chosen to accompany rather than overshadow. The tea list follows the seasons too.
-
Reservierungen
The room is intentionally intimate. We encourage reservations and welcome walk-ins as the evening allows. Please come as you are.
"The imperfect, the incomplete, the impermanent — this is where beauty quietly lives."
